The dogs that you see on this page all had something in common: their owners experienced a life change that prohibited them from keeping their dog. Sometimes life just works out that way. It could be a new arrival in the family, a change in residence, a new job that requires travel, divorce, illness, death.  There are any number of other reasons why the family pet must be surrendered and it is never an easy decision to give up a loyal friend.

Everyone at NS4AR understands your concerns when it comes to turning over your pet to a stranger. We want to assure you that all placements are carefully considered. Our adopters are screened thoroughly. Our volunteers understand the special needs of the Australian Shepherd and therefore only make a placement after we are confident that it is right for the dog. We give on-going support to our adopters and we follow-up to make sure that everything runs smoothly. When there is just no other way and surrender is the only option, rest assured that we will do everything we can to find the best possible home for your Aussie.

The link below will take you to another page for our surrender form. Please take a few minutes to fill out the info.  When you have completed the form, click on the submit button at the bottom of the form. Your info will be sent to NS4AR and somone will contact you.

Thanks for choosing NS4AR!
